COVID-19 Free Online Yin Class
We are living in a stressful time, and many people are struggling to make their physical and mental health a priority amongst the daily stresses surrounding COVID-19. In an effort to optimize mental, emotional and physical health in these uncertain time I would like to invite you to join me for a FREE weekly Yin yoga practice from the comfort of your own home!
Yin yoga is a meditative practice and has been known to help reduce feelings of anxiety, depression and stress. This gentle practice calms the mind while focusing on deep fascia and connective tissue and joints. This makes yin the perfect practice to increase flexibility, and mobility while calming the nervous system and relaxing mind.
The class will be gentle and will be all conducted on the floor. We hold the poses for extended time but move very slowly and with intention. We don’t need to push ourselves in the practice so just be prepared to do whatever your individual body will allow. I encourage you to try and find a quiet space in your home where you can relax and stretch out.
Some things to bring
(They aren’t required but you may find them useful)
-strap (or extra t-shirt or towel)
-blocks if you have them (stacks of books can also work well)
